Project Overview

Wildcat Construction built a Standby Power Generation facility for the City of Wichita at the Cheney Pump Station. The work involved site improvements such as grading, drainage, concrete paving, fire protection and fencing for the construction of the generator building. The generator building is a 5,600 SF precast concrete structure that was constructed to withstand 250 mph winds and houses two (2) 1750 KW diesel-powered generators. The project began in the spring of 2013 and was completed in late 2014.
